THis makes me very Happy. The Russell Hill (now Campbell) people were resourceful and lobbied well...with the aid of Lasseter ( of gold fame). This building still stands, in Patterson St Ainslie as the Ainslie Hall. It's likely to still be there in a hundred years! Its origins I think might be from the Internment Camp at Fyshwick paid for by the British Government in 1918 to house 'alien' of the empire during the Great War.
